Hi,
I am connecting a palm pilot to my laptop via USB. Have done this in the past no problems - /dev/ttyUSB0 and /dev/ttyUSB1 are the players. I had to reinstall Linux (Debian unstable on a mac) after some hard drive nastiness, and now I don't have any ttyUSBs. I RTFM and make 'em myself with mknod and I get palm sync nirvana until the device disconnects and my devices disappear from /dev. Given that I've had this working before I can only assume I am missing an appropriate package of some sort.
Any ideas?
