Hi again.
In the last few weeks (im sure it coincides with a newer version of Xorg) i have been unable to use the shortcut keys to switch virtual consoles....and i dont know any other way to do it
When i press CTRL+ALT+F1 i get the hard drive going crazy (the first time i do it) and if im in Konsole it spits out the letters OP and for CTRL+ALT+F2 (doesnt do the hard drive thing if its the second attempt at switching) it spits out OQ and so forth.
Any idea how to link these keys back to switching from and X display to the consoles?
here is the applicable sections from my xorg.conf file
[snip]
Section "ServerFlags"
Option "DontVTSwitch" "false"
EndSection...
Section "InputDevice"
Identifier "keyboard"
Driver "kbd"
Option "XkbModel" "dell"
Option "XkbLayout" "us"
Option "XkbVariant" "intl"
EndSection
[/snip]
I have also tried the same but with Driver "keyboard"
neither work
thanks
