Why did you give HN the opportunity of making any money, I dont see why the "honest" retailer down the road who provides a competitive upfront price does not have the last opportunity to provide the product or service. You never know they may be Linux friendly and offer a technical service, which from this email you will not get from a major department store. You could even build a relationship with the guy/girl and have access to the latest and greatest at competitive prices. Of course I am only assuming that you bought the item from HN. Just my rant on large retailers ripping off the misinformed. > > So their markup on these things is more than $50!
