This is strange. What displays here is controlled
by 'smtp.conf' and '#smtpd_tls_auth_only=yes'.

# cat sasl/smtpd.conf
pwcheck_method: saslauthd
mech_list: plain login

AUTH PLAIN LOGIN

should be listed and no more. I can't explain this.
Something is wrong somewhere.

I noticed that in one of your previous postings, you
had this:

# cat /etc/postfix/sasl/smtpd.conf
pwcheck_method: saslauthd
mech_list: plain login

Can you re-locate /etc/postfix/sasl/smtpd.conf to /usr/lib/sasl2/smtpd.conf ?

or where ever your libraries for 'sasl2' are
located.

I am using Red Hat's and Fedora's and /usr/lib/sasl2
is the one.
