Hello Linux users.
My name is Matthew Tydd and if have just rebooted windows (XP Pro) for
the 5th time this morning.
I would like some help configuring Linux but would prefer 1-1 help.
Is it possible for someone to give me a hand? I am willing to pay.
I have an installation of SUSE 9.1 on a second P.C. (an old ASUS
motherboard and 1 GHz processor)
but progress is slow. I would like to network the 2 machines and
configure access to the internet on the Linux machine as well.
Any takers or advice?

Matthew,
Just go into yast and go to network then click on the network card
option and your card should be in the bottom half of the screen. Click
change and do the setup in there for the lan including (most likely) the
static address.
Yast also has a share internet connection option, but I'd have to check
where that is.
Hope that gives you a start
