The status is changing and I'm not sure. Earlier you could not download all the network stuff, you needed to purchase. Now I'm not certain.
I've run a myttv client with 'minimum graphics' from one CD. Everything depends on what you choose to install. My kernal: Linux tigger 2.6.11-smp #4 SMP Sat Jul 30 11:50:31 WST 2005 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux did not run DVICO-standard. I needed to mod cx88-cards.c to use the same tuner as the plus card. I have not yet got lite cards to work. So ..
