I experienced similar in TB 1.0.x but it has been fixed now.
Thanks Simon. I thought you were on to something there, but I'm running
version 1.0.6 of both tb and ff and the bug says it was fixed for 1.0.1
I've tried all the usual:
- new profile
- safemode
- as root
- downloaded firefox from mozilla as opposed to ubuntu package and
installed to a directory in my home and removed the check for already
running (although the libs used when I ran this version were probably
still the ubuntu package ones??)
- followed all procedures I can on Mozilla site for debugging problems
(remove extension folders, compreg.dat, etc etc)
All to no avail. This is really driving me insane....it's gotta be
something on my system - presumably other people are not seeing the same
(yes I'm using cups for printing).
