I'm not quite so hard core as some sluggers, so I use a mixture. I'm teaching my wife (who does buckets of email every day) to do the same thing: mutt for speed squirrelmail for pictures, html, pdf, other gui crap, etc. If they are doing low volumes, I can't imagine a punter using mutt.
