Sounds similar to iinet (though iinet takes 90+30 for 40Gb/40Gb).

I pay 50$ for 10g/10g 1500/256 DSL. I'm entitled to ADSL2 once
my exchange supports this (because I moved my phone to them as well for
29.95$).

A relative of mine just got on an ADSL2 exchange of theirs - got an ADSL2
modem for free which could do 8000/1000 and upgraded it to 12000/1000
by himself and claims to get that much from the line.

I suppose it depends a lot on what kind of user are you - I hardly do P2P
and never did movie downloads so I hardly tickle the data cap and I actually
get along well enough with the 1500 though it would be nice to have something
faster one day. I use Skype a lot and the line is good enough even to
download bittorents (at full line speed) and still be able to talk to the other
side of the world.
