Since we're now not talkng about Australian hosting, I have to say you can't beat www.linode.com. They do User Mode Linux hosting, so you can run anything you like. You are root.
I've been with them about 18 months and they're fantastic. Support is _brilliant_ and the owner and staff contribute loads to the UML and Xen projects--they know their shit. Also a very knowledgable bunch on the forums. Only downside is disk space is somewhat overpriced, though this should be fixed sometime soon as they move to Xen and shared disk. (It's an architectural problem with the way they have single machines -- hard to get more disk space inside the racks.) -- Rev Simon Rumble <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> www.rumble.net The Tourist Engineer Because geeks travel too. http://engineer.openguides.org/ "If we suffer tamely a lawless attack upon our liberty, we encourage it, and involve others in our doom." - Samuel Adams -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
