Hi All. This may be a very simple request, or perhaps really hard but I have a situation I'd like to solve and need guidance on how to go about it. I'm not sure of any simple terms so forgive me if this email is a little long and descriptive.
In a nutshell. I want to use one Mail server to get email from another mail server and put it in the appropriate box. I support some small to medium enterprises. They all have their domains hosted externally to their site and I wish to keep it that way as none of them will be able to afford to get a Static IP etc. They all have broadband and I set them up with a Dyndns entry (i.e. company.dyndns.org). I am going to put in a Mail server and use Scalix for groupware on site. As part of that I want to have the mail come into their Scalix Mailbox. Scalix will be the mail server for company.dyndns.org and their mail will be hosted at company.com.au I want to set it up so that scalix.company.dyndns.org periodically goes to mail.company.com.au, gets the mail and puts it in the appropriate mailboxes. I know that one way to do this would be set up forwarders at mail.company.com.au but this does not actually clear the mailboxes there and they will max out over time. Is my example possible? Can anyone point me in the direction of Docs to look at or URLs that may explain it for me. I'm not a newbie but I am still green in places Thanks for your help.
