I've used both 0.9.6 and 0.9.6c without any hassles. I wouldn't use
the newer releases for a few months without a fair amount of testing
beforehand.
I've used phpldapadmin 0.9.6 and had no problem.
I'm using 0.9.7. It works just fine.
Just now, I downloaded 0.9.7.2 and installed it. It works with the
config.php.example by copying
it to config.php without any modification. I used 'anonymous' login.
I noticed the directory structures between 0.9.7 and 0.9.7.2 have
changed, though.
