Mine didnt either, although I wasn't happy with it. So I ended up
selling it. Then purchased the Twinhan card to test after another
member said his was alright. Sure enough it certainly was. However
these Twinhan cards like a good signal, otherwise it might not work so
good.

I only purchased a 2nd one as the first unit worked well enough, now
both cards are working. Although due to the lack of tv coax loopback
on the card itself, I had to purchase a $5.90 odd part from jaycar
that splits my tv socket on wall into 2 more sockets, then ran 2
cables directly to each tuner in the machine. Just as well the room
with my computer and other machines dont have a tv to also connect up
with the antenna port. Otherwise I'd need to split it again.

I convinced the wife that letting me build a dedicated frontend for
another room when we move will be good. Atleast then I can use the
frontend with a tv to watch some shows, rather then use my mac mini or
the backend itself.

I think I can live with the odd problem, certainly handy to have my
shows record based on them coming up in the guide, rather then using
my PVR to say record X channel at Y time each week. And hope the show
dont swap days or time before I get a chance to watch the previous
weeks. (curses channel 9 and the Alice)
