Hi
I find thunderbird full of promise, but un-usable. This is a general stir to
see if I'm wrong, or if indeed my woes are real

1) I want an icon on the toolbar. When I get spam I want to click the icon,
the current mail is sent to [EMAIL PROTECTED] for bayes filter learning,
removed
from inbox and I continue with my mail. Easy to do with kmail, looks like
lots of pages of google, real messy, third party plugins a right royal pain.

2) I want (bluddy 'ell) ANY biff to say mail has arrived. We run 4 users on
the console <ctrl><alt>f2, f3, f4, f5. Sounds are useless (someone got mail!)
and when you walk past the console you want to *see* you've got new mail in
your own account. Looks like thunderbird developers forgot how unix systems
work. Again kmail has taskbark notifiers.

Kmail has other issues, but the useability scores are very high. Any
solutions? or is thunderbird an interesting relic?

James
