What distro? It should be easy on a late kernel. I have used SuSE 9.3 & 10
and FC4, someone else has used Ubuntu.

But ... There are 3 cards that fit the description, DVICO, lite, plus. They
are all different. The Earliest kernel that supports all 3 is 2.6.11 and I
had to mod the kernel to work with the OLD DVICO cards (You may have the
mods, mail me) (for 2.6.11)

So more info, before definitive help. Also I have only used mplayer and mythtv
to watch DVB, so cant help re kaffeine
