It takes time to get the zen of those man pages... and a lot of cross
referencing.

Yeah, this is much the same as my suggestion, while piping the whole thing
to mail instead of modifying the Subject with formail. Does the job - good
start!
My procmail and mutt configs have changed quite a bit over time as I've
learnt new tricks... There's always something new hiding in that scary pile
of mess. ;-)
