Conventional wisdom says of course you can't ...

but

Each X server is totally independent, and can have it's own flags (kdmrc, 
gdm.conf, and consequently own xorg.conf) so you should be able to do 
independent configs ...

When I tried to setup touchscreens on two local Xservers the common hardware 
ment one worked, one did not.

So I guess the answer is very specific, might work somewhere but not others.

What I do is 2560x1024 twinview display, run myth on the RHS screen.

What my mate does is also twinview but LCD lhs, TV rhs (he struggled, but got 
working on GT6600: VGA:SVIDEO). 
myth on a LCD is much nicer than myth on a TV.
But if you followed this you could have myth on your TV,
main session on your monitor. Never any conflict. You *could* drag a window 
onto your TV, but it's easy not to, besides it's usefull when you want to 
show guests the latest photos etc
