To just add to Martin's post:
I read slug for fun, enjoyment and education, contribute when I believe that I 
can make a contribution.
I don't want a sanitized list. I don't want multiple 'topic' lists.
Opinions, even heretical heated ones, are part of life. Flame wars are a pain.

If you change the format too much, like Puff, I'll sadly go to my cave
