Spamassassin sees fi.mm in a mail message and tries to look it up. fi.mm is not a valid domain name (but that doesn't explain the general screwiness in the DNS servers for .mm), it's the name of a variable in a patch set in the Linux kernel mailing list. So every time an email comes in mentioning the variable, a lookup gets done. Can anyone give me a cluestick as to how to stop spamassassin doing this? In general it does a reasonable job of dropping the thousands of spams I get; but every now and then ..... grrrr -- Dr Peter Chubb http://www.gelato.unsw.edu.au peterc AT gelato.unsw.edu.au http://www.ertos.nicta.com.au ERTOS within National ICT Australia -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
