I have Dapper running on my laptop and due to some data loss on

I get exactly the same problem with my Debian unstable. It fscks in the train and the
person behind things that Linux takes ages to boot up compared to Windows.
$ on_ac_power
$ echo $?
I get 0 when on AC and 1 when on battery.
and in checkfs.sh if [ $? -eq 1 ] it will/should skip fsck.
But it doesn't. So I'll be interested in seeing what the prob is in Ubuntu also as it
will prob fix my Debian.
