If you need to manage multiple firewalls with a consistent policy/framework across multiple platforms (Linux/BSD and even Cisco PIX, Linksys, etc too) then "fwbuilder" might be another candidate. Obviously it can be used to configure a single firewall too :) Check it out: http://www.fwbuilder.org/ FWIW, some of the "commercial" firewalls, like PIX, require a plug-in that will cost $$$. However it's completely free (beer and speech) for Linux/BSD firewalls.
