Looking at the course website http://turing.une.edu.au/~comp170 it
really looks like there should be enough information in the lecture
slides and tutorials to answer these questions.

For 2 and 3, why not just try out the commands and answer from there?

Also, given that you seem to have paid tutors, wouldn't it make more
sense to ask them? It really does *appear* as though you are trying to
cheat rather than trying to learn.
