The author says that he is going to include the recently released Tesseract OCR with FuzzyOCR in the future.
I'll note here that the release notes for Tesseract specifically say that Tesseract isn't very good with colour or grey-scale images.
Last time I checked, most of my image-spam emails had colours and weird-fonts.
