network manager brings up a dialog that greys out the login button for every 
combination of input except 1234567890 (WEP64 open auth) It then fails to 
connect.
wifi-radar fails too.
Network manager Hardware List says Cisco 350 airo YES

I know the hardware works:
iwconfig eth2 channel 6
iwconfig eth2 key 1234567890
ifconfig eth2 192.168.5.61

Connected to the world!
