Hi all,
I've been scratching my head over this one and can't work it out so
thought I'd throw it out to the hive mind.
I've got two kubuntu boxes, one running 6.06 and the other 6.10.
In my .vimrc I have the following mapping set to automatically add
opening and closing {} for code blocks:
imap <C-F> <CR>{<CR>}<C-O>O
I know there are other ways to do this but this was nice and simple and
was working fine on 6.06 using vim.basic 6.4.6.
It doesn't work at all on 6.10, vim.basic 7.0.35. If I hit CTRF-F now I
just get exactly that: ^F.
I also noticed that if I display the imap mappings from within vim
in 6.46 I get 11 entries, in 7.0.35 I get just the one, and having a
play around, it seems that I can't get any mappings to work in the later
version.
Has something happened to the mapping functions between these versions
or am I just missing something?
Anyone care to hit me with a cluestick here?
TIA,
Craig
