Oh... maybe I'm asking the wrong question...

Is there an Ubuntu Live CD image that does a network based install,
rather than a media based (CD or DVD) install?  I.e. *no* .debs on the
media (or almost none).  Then I could point it at my local .deb cache,
minimize the multi-gigabyte downloads, but still get the latest 6.06 LTS
*with* the right kernel image.

Does such a live CD exist?
