Hi all,

I've now made 5 or 6 attempts to get Ubuntu Edgy installed on a new
amd64 system with SATA disks. The install goes fine but when it
goes reboot it gets to "GRUB " and then nothing.

I can get back into the system by booting in rescue mode and mounting
my root file system but no amount of futzing about gets me a booting
system.

While booting in rescue mode I did and "apt-get update/upgrade" so
everything there should be fine.

Anybody care to hit me with clue bat?

Cheers,
Erik
