Bingo Matt!! Your referral to http://www.fedoraforum.org/ worked. There is a thread there with detailed instructions. I tested the result with a protected movie and it ran without any problems.

Also thanks to everyone else who offered suggestions.

John.

Sorry John, I haven't tried doing this
sort of thing myself, nor have I ever tried "Kaffiene".

You might try on Fedora forums: http://www.fedoraforum.org/

 Thanks Howard and Mathew.

Libdvdcss is now installed but Kaffeine is telling me I do not have the appropriate plugins to run protected movies. Any advice about what they might be and where they are hiding to avoid my presence?

John.

I am having no luck trying to download and install libdvdcss2. Anyone done any better?
What have you tried?

libdvdcss is in livna, and as far as I can tell, that's the
same thing as libdvdcss2

   rpm -ivh http://rpm.livna.org/livna-release-6.rpm
   yum install libdvdcss
