Hmmm your latest letter makes sense!
I reckon if you have the hostname resolve to ip and the ip resolve to
hostname.. ie.. correctly configure forward and reverse dns lookups.
It will probably end up working no problem.. seems odd your forward
lookups don't work. Guess you better fix that.
