Ooo. Checking the pwc wiki at
http://www.lavrsen.dk/twiki/bin/view/PWC/WorkingWebcamsWithPWC , it
looks like the ToUCam II uses a different driver altogether.

Sorry, it is a ToUCam Pro II, I thought it was the non-pro version (in
fact, I was hoping it was, because the driver for the ToUCam II seemed
to be easier to get hold of.

However, the Pro is a much better camera and it seems it will work, so
thanks for your info. I did have a read over some of the history of
the driver.

I noticed there are no patches or modules released after early January
2006, but there are reports of things working on the mailing lists at
saillard.org

So all that's left is to craft a clever mod that can give an IR boost
at low light, without munging the colours in good light... should be
an interesting challenge, but maybe some of that astronomy stuff will
come in handy.

They were just shipped so they'll arrive in Canberra when I'm away at
LCA :-( (just moved).

Thanks,

Ben
