I think if you execute a command tool window (surely they still have
that in vista still), and execute "ipconfig /all" it will show all
the interfaces along with any ip addresses assigned (if any). More
importantly it will show your mac address of your interfaces.
That would of saved you a bit of hassle :) Anyways for future
reference (for anyone in the same position).
