I use http://www.alltheweb.com/

Mainly for historical reasons really. Back when I first started in tech
support and search engines were few and far between I found the results
from all the web to be consistently better than any of the others,
including the fledgling google. Plus it never seems to have suffered
from the various ploys used on google to artificially influence the results.

And before anyone points it out - I am well aware that they have since
been taken over / co-opted by Yahoo and I'm not sure my preference has
any great merit any more, but having been using it for so many years I
can't be bothered making the switch.

Plus I've always been a supporter of the underdog. Macs and Linux
instead of Windows, AMD instead of Intel, anyone other than Michael
Schumacher - that kind of thing ;-)
