Has anyone had any experience in getting a USB DVB-T Tuner working with Linux?
The AFATECH 9015 is this week's special at Aldi and work well with the Windows Driver they ship with. The 9005 is Standard Definition and 9015 (HD) Google reveals that Sabayon Linux incorporating the 2.6.20 kernel and includes a driver for the AFATECH 9005 USB DVB-T tuner card. I am contemplating either a) upgrading to Knoppix 5.1 (or 5.2 ...if it makes it to CEBIT in Syndey next month) and then upgrading the kernel...though fiddling around with the Kernel is beyond my experience. I have been playing with Vidoe on Ubuntu but relying on Knoppix since 2003. or b) switching to Sabayon. Any advice/suggestions welcome.
