I just came across this and thought I'd post the URL:

The other day. It appears they've open sourced
themselves in the last few months.
I've just been playing with it and assessing it
(informally and purely subjectively) against a W2K
install on both VMWare and VirtualBox.
It seems to perform as well - to my eye anyway :))
Unlike VMWare Player, VirtualBox is like VMWare
workstation - you can create your own images
within the app.
