Uh, dude, it was maximally useful in context of the problem: You always
liked zgv, so here's a potential solution for getting it to work. Not some
other tool, the *one you want*.

zgv is in Debian, a fact which may solve your problem on SUSE.

I did not suggest switching to Debian. Perhaps read the email again without
