The date for the sale of the FIC Neo 1973, the first public-ish hardware release to support Open Moko Linux was announced yesterday by project founder/lead/community liason, Sean Moss-Pultz. - http://openmoko.com/
A base configuration and a developers edition sporting extra battery, extra uSD card, debug board and tools will be available, priced at US$300 and $450 respectively. More information can be found at the wiki on openmoko.org I have been following this project closely and I intend to buy one as soon as the site is launched, which I will bring along to the July SLUG for anyone interested to look at / fiddle with. (I haven't been to SLUG in a while, so maybe a developer has already brought along their pre-release model and I will be redundant, so sorry if that's the case) Ben -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
