www.linux.org/lessons/ I just thought I would write to recommend this website for all newbies it is devided into 3 sections 1. Getting Started with Linux - Beginner's Course 2. Intermediate Level Linux Course 3. Advanced Linux Course
1. Getting Started with Linux - Beginner's Course I found that this couvered most things I need to know to get me started It mainly deals with the Command line Linux so I would have my browser open and a terminal open and I would just work away at the examples 2. Intermediate Level Linux Course This starts at teaching how to install an rpm and moves on to more advanced subjects like web programming languages and Linux server side software. 3. Advanced Linux Course Contains many subjects which I may pick and choose as I can't see myself needing to know all the content So yes I can recommend it It is by no means exhaustive but is that a realistic expectation?
