I'm trying to setup an epson 1670 as a network scanner on a fedora 7 server (please note I'm agnostic when it comes to Linux distributions).
So far I can scan locally on the server ie use scanimage -L. The services has sane-port 6566 added xinetd has been modified But when I try to telnet to the 6566 is a Connection refused, and scanimage -L on the Ubuntu client produces nil response. Any suggestions? Craig
