Hi.
I have an Apacer USB which automounts on plugin.
Yesterday when I was copying from the drive, the process froze.
I wanted to umount the drive but cant.
umount /media/mp3a
yields:
umount: /media/mp3a: device is busy
umount: /media/mp3a: device is busy
I ran lsof | grep mp3a:
lsof | grep mp3a
nautilus 2531 luke 24r REG 8,0 42659930 1552
/media/mp3a/foogie.mp3
killed that process but still no joy.
I ran fuser -k -v
No joy.
Then I just unplugged the disk.
Is there any way I can force a umount (umount -f doesn't work) or
otherwise unmount the drive without rebooting.
uname -vor
2.6.18-1.2200.fc5 #1 Sat Oct 14 16:59:26 EDT 2006 GNU/Linux
Thanks for any help.
Kind regards.
Luke Vanderfluit.
