Hi David.
Not sure about the issues, it seems to be a physical issue rather
than a software issue. Saying that, somehow the bios may have been
corrupted...
Anyway, a good computer store in the inner west is on the corner of
Salisbury rd and Bridge St in Stanmore. Friendly guys who generally
know quite a bit (at least from my experience). can't remember the
name sorry. Hope this helps.

Subject: [SLUG] Old PC Booting Issues (Hardware)
I have an old AMD K6400 running Red Hat 6.2.
It is an I/O control box which was set up years ago for switching
24dvc relays for an art installation. Just recently I have wanted to
get it working again to test out a few things. Unfortunately will NOT
send a video signal out.
Hardrive appears to be running fine (I can hear it). Reseated all
connections throughout but still NO signal to a monitor. Could be the
video card? Could be the motherboard? I have noticed that the CPU fan
is not running.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated..
Its been a while since I have used a computer shop. Can anyone
recommend somewhere in the Inner West or Newtown for hardware support?
Maybe someone might have and old cpu and motherboard with ISA bus
slots they would be willing part for a few dollars?
With Much Thanks
David
