Hi,
A mate of mine has just decided to start learning about Linux. I
partitioned his HDD on his Toshiba laptop and set up a dual boot with
vista and ubuntu 7.04.
- From Grub they both boot and run with no hassles except that he can't
get sound as yet in ubuntu. (I can't get to look at the setup again
until I visit Sydney in a couple of weeks so I am trying to get it
working by email:-)
Is there a problem with sound on this model using linux or is it just a
matter of checking that it is not muted.
Check if the sound works when he boots from the live CD.
