Hi, I have a 1Gb Sony Pro Duo memory stick for which I bought Centifly Card reader CF-RS205 <www.centifly.com > ..
Unlike USB sticks and digital camera, Etch does not detect it. I've worked through the Flash-Memory-HOWTO and everything seems in order. I took the Pro Duo card and adapter into the SONY shop where it worked on a Vaio computer using Vista. Two error msgs have appeared, however. /var/log/boot gives me -------------------------------------------------------- mount: none already mounted or /proc/bus/usb/ busy mount: according to mtab, procbususb is already mounted on /proc/bus/usb mount: unknown filesystem type 'usbdevfs' fail -------------------------------------------------------- .. while Nautilus 2.18.3 recognises the SD/MMC Card Reader, but on trying to mount it gives me the following msg: -------------------------------------------------------- "Unable to mount the selected volume. V Show more details process 22375: applications must not close shared connections - see dbus_connection_close()docs. this is a bug in the application mount: no medium found mount: no medium found error: could not execute pmount --------------------------------------------------------- I've looked at the dbus docs but could see nothing relevant. Can anyone see a fix here ?
