Hi Everyone,

Our plans for Software Freedom Day are progressing smoothly. You can see our
plans on the SLUG and Software Freedom Day Web sites:

  http://www.slug.org.au/node/80
  http://www.softwarefreedomday.org/teams/oceania/au/Sydney

Our venue is the computer fair at The Roundhouse at UNSW.

Note that our activities take place on SUNDAY 16 SEPTEMBER.

If you would like to do something on Saturday, you might consider heading over
to Newcastle to assist the LOGIN team[1]. They are especially looking for
people to give talks and presentations at their event at the University of
Newcastle.

We will also be promoting our next Bootcamp, which should be similar to the
one we held in May.

We commence setup at 8am. The Computer Fairs people require us to be ready by
9am for a 10am start. The fair ends at 3pm.

We are still short of volunteers and demonstration hardware/software, so
please get in touch with me if you would like to help out. Please see our
page at softwarefreedomday.org for ideas on how you can help.

Thanks everyone!
Sridhar
