Linux Car Mp3 player?

Have a look at the bulletin board relating to the Empeg. It runs Linux, 
you can 'get into' the device. There are community contributed programs.

The manufacturing quality is superb. You can put any size of laptop hd into 
it. 

Unfortunately the device is no longer in production: the high cost put an
end to it, but there is quite a strong user community. It's still very much
alive.
