To celebrate the release of Mandriva Linux 2008, Mandriva are supporting <http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/Community/Events/Installfest2008> local groups worldwide to run installfests <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Installfest>. The Sydney group <http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/Community/Events/Installfest2008#Australia> will be holding their event on Saturday 17 November.
Mandriva is a KDE-centric distribution, and we welcome users of KDE on other distros to help out as well.
