Hi there. I wonder if there is anyone there that is familiar with the Sun computer video connector. I have an old Sun on which I installed Linux and a standard PC which runs windows. I can run both on the same monitor that I have which sports two inputs. I can toggle between them. I still will need two keyboards and mice, but that is small and easy. The problem is that the Sun has that special connector, though the monitor is VGA. I found several adaptors in eBay but the first vendor warns that each Sun monitor output is different and that if I use the wrong adaptor I can burn the video card, or the monitor, or the computer - and I wonder if I could bring down the whole power grid too! Is it true? Are the contacts different from one Sun model to another, or all Sun video connectors are the same? Do I need a specific adaptor? Thanks, Sergio [EMAIL PROTECTED]
