Hi All,
The week has come. This weekend on Saturday 17th November will be the
Mandriva Installfest for the latest release 2008. This will be a great
opportunity to bring into the community Mandriva users who are not yet
part of SLUG.
This will be a community focused event and will reflect the change in
direction of the Mandriva to be more community minded. Stay tuned for
the upcoming press release.
The day will commence with an Install Fest, followed by training and
information on various Open source and KDE apps. We will also be
promoting SLUG and Linux Australia at the event. If you would like to be
involved please email me at the address below.
Mandriva will be providing us with goodies for the day.
