G'day, I've been asked to write a programme to work with a coin box (as found in arcade games, or vending machines, i.e. it recognises coins inserted, indicating a coin of type foo has been inserted, rejecting coins "not recognised")
I was going well until I asked a question of the supplier and was told, "windows programmes are all that are needed". So does anybody know of Linux "friendly" coin boxes? Supporting friendly suppliers i my intent, besides making my life easier. I seem to remember stacks of coin operated Linux computers for Internet cafes around, once upon a time. So such devices must be out there. Thanks for any suggestions, Regards, Ashley
