Gaim (or Pidgin, the new name) is what you want. > So is there any slugger out there that will take pity and guide me through > how to get "on-line" with messaging in as painless a way as possible. If you have a Hotmail address, you already have an MSN messaging account. If you don't have a Hotmail address, you'll have to register for one or just an MSN 'passport' account. Then you just type your details into the "Add Account" dialogue. :-) Seems they don't have step-by-step docs. If you need any additional help, just ask. :-) - Jeff -- GNOME.conf.au 2008: Melbourne, Australia http://live.gnome.org/Melbourne2008 "When there's public debate and mass hysteria, that's when the patches roll in." - Michael Meeks -- SLUG - Sydney Linux User's Group Mailing List - http://slug.org.au/ Subscription info and FAQs: http://slug.org.au/faq/mailinglists.html
