I set up a Linux system for a friend. She uses a dial-up modem. I
configured wvdial for her use and that's worked satisfactorily for her
with a couple of ISPs, a uni and then a commercial one. However, she's
left the uni and the commercial one's just folded.
She uses Optus for her mobile phone network and found out that she can
get cheap dial-up from it.
Is anyone reading this by chance using Optus dial-up? Is a person with
pretty rudimentary knowledge of these things (me) likely to be able to
get her connecting to Optus with wvdial?
Thanks for reading this,
Leslie
